Journal: Loneliness

Updated: Apr 22, 2019

Social media is a way to bring up your feelings and communicate with others what your daily status is. The most common way to end loneliness is to use social media and post so your burden doesn't grow worse. However, for those who use social media and have a quiet social life tend to have higher rates of loneliness and likely depression. Social media is mainly not for augmenting your egotism but as time flies, the point of social media turns with people only sharing the top points of their lives such as getting a prom date, getting A's in rigorous courses, and as well as going to parties. In my opinion, Social media can deepen your anxiety but it can be changed if us as humans start to attempt to create our stories and share them rather than interrupting other people's stories and trying to be like them. The main point is we can prevent this if we start worrying about ourselves and not think to much about the negatives that are weighting in our backs.
